The pair of champions defeated the traitors King Kenny and Maya Jama to split the prize pot of £83,000 for the charities of their choice in a nail-biting finish that could have gone in so many directions right until the very end. The series wrapped up filming months ago, with the cast signing water-tight NDAs to avoid any spoilers. However, some have been better at keep secrets than others. Richard E. Grant accidentally revealed he was a traitor on a radio appearance before the first episode even aired and the cast were warned they could face a £100,000 fine if they spilled any secrets prematurely. But comedian Romesh and Heartstopper actor Sebastian have been sitting on the biggest secret of them all: they’re winners. Appearing on Romesh’s BBC Radio 2 show this morning where they were joined by finalists Kenny and Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock, the unlikely double act revealed they recently risked spoiling the end result at a dinner in central London. Bash elaborated: ‘We were in central London having dinner and we’re not exactly a likely duo and the whole restaurant were like… we love you guys on traitors – hope you win!’ Romesh joked he panicked and told diners: ‘Well don’t draw any conclusions from this dinner!’ Thankfully, everyone’s lips were sealed and more than 11 million people tuned in to watch their victory completely spoiler-free. Well well well deserved!’ ‘I’ve got tears in my eyes. The perfect two to win. Love the love between Romesh and Bash,’ another shared. Speaking after their win, Bash said: ‘That was just incredible, this might actually be the best day of my life.’ Romesh added: ‘I just really hope my mum’s proud, and also my youngest son Charlie, who wanted me to come on the show. Dad won, please show me some respect.’ Deals of the Day This Hoover vacuum is a game-changer for pet owners and muddy homes The wellbeing brand behind everyone's favourite candles has launched its biggest sale yet See London's Christmas lights from an open-top double-decker bus this winter My skin always suffers when the heating goes on but this serum changed that The skincare formula that finally took the guesswork out of my routine Celebrity Traitors series 2 is available to stream in full on BBC iPlayer.
