Sign in to your ScreenRant account Since its inception back in 1987, The Legend of Zelda franchise has become something of a household name, and despite not being the titular figure, Link is definitely one of the most recognizable figures in video game history. Despite being a silent protagonist, it was this design choice that made him become a vessel for the player, and it is his wit, strategy, and heroic tendencies that have made him the ideal character for players to step into the shoes of. Of course, that is not to mention his iconic look that, despite many different variations over the years, still manages to capture the blonde-haired adventurer perfectly. Now, to help celebrate Link and all his past glories, one exciting release is about to become a must-buy for fans. Link Returns Next March First introduced in 1987's The Legend of Zelda, and being the playable protagonist in every Zelda title except 2024's The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Link is beloved by many, and now, he is set to return in March 2027 in a stunning new release. Courtesy of Kapow! Toys, The Legend of Zelda: Heroes of Hyrule Link 6 Inch Action Figure is exactly what it says on the tin, a collectible figure that encapsulates Link in all his glory, standing at ready with the Master Sword and the Hylian Shield. "Ever since its first title, released in the U.S. in 1987, the Legend of Zelda series has mixed exploration and discovery with action and adventure," the item description reads. "Link and Zelda’s eternal battle against Ganondorf forms the centerpiece of these epic tales from the world of Hyrule. Now, with 6-inch-scale figures from Hasbro, fans can finally bring to life their favorite game moments and cut-scenes — or imagine their own."
