As expected, the first Team of the Week for EA Sports FC 27 has arrived, and brings with it 23 players who are getting an early ratings boost thanks to their real-life performances on the pitch. This team will also be available in the Ultimate Team game mode to challenge for a limited time, with boosted rewards based on the difficulty you select. FC 27 TOTW For Week One EA has revealed the full 23-player Team of the Week for Week One, and there are already some overall rating boosts for players sure to be part of the online meta moving forward. Dumornay is the next most expensive at 1.5 million, with there is a substantial drop-off to the next player, David Raya, at 280,000. The only other player worth over 100K is Lucas Nmecha, who is valued at 130,000 coins. The value of these players gives a good indication of how playable they are, with Yamal easily being one of the most popular players due to his Barcelona, La Liga, and Spanish chemistry. Raya will feel like a bargain at 280K considering he is Spanish and has Premier League chemistry while also being rated 89 overall. Nmecha is also worth highlighting as he's part of the "Gullit Gang." Players with that's like this are rare outside of big promos and Icons, so it's very interesting to see this card available on day one. Gullit Gang players have at least an 80-rating across all individual categories: Pace, Shooting, Passing, Dribbling, Defending, and Physicality. Dumornay is also a surprise at 1.5 million, but this is likely down to her 93-rated pace, 5-star weak foot, and Gamechanger+ PlayStyle. A 91 rating for dribbling and an 86 rating for shooting also don't hurt her appeal. As for the bench players for TOTW Week One, there is one player rated 84 and another rated 82, but the remaining ten players are all rated 80 overall. Team One will be live in FC 27 when the game enters early access on Friday. For TOTW releases, the announcement is made on a Wednesday at 6pm BST, and the team goes live almost immediately. Team of the Week cards can be found in all packs that correspond to the player's rarity. This means gold players can be found in gold packs, and should a player be selected for TOTW and still be a silver, they will be found in silver packs.
