It packs serious power into a compact form factor, delivering a buttery-smooth experience that really elevates movie nights. The original $85 price tag is a bit much, in my opinion, but the new $45 price tag is quite fair. It's not the lowest price we've seen, but it's still a great deal if you're looking to upgrade or buy something new. Power where you need it Not all smart TVs and media streaming sticks are created equal. While the presentation might be the same, the experience can be vastly different. That's because you need good hardware to run things smoothly and sometimes those cheaper models are underpowered. You might not feel it if you've never experienced anything else, but it's there. And over time, it can become more frustrating. Laggy menus and longer load times are the last thing you want when you're trying to sit down and relax for movie night. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max excels because it features a powerful processor and 16GB of RAM. It also supports 4K streaming and delivers fast internet speeds with Wi-Fi 6E. In addition to support for some of the best streaming services, like Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, and Disney+, it can also stream games from services like Amazon Luna, Xbox Game Pass, and Nvidia's GeForce Now. It's a versatile piece of hardware you can expand with software from the Amazon Appstore. The Fire TV Stick 4K Max also runs Android, just in case you want to sideload some apps that aren't available through normal means. 9/10 Operating System Fire OS Resolution Up to 4K HDR support Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, HLG The Fire TV Stick 4K Max is Amazon’s most feature-rich regular streamer. It can stream in 4K and supports the faster Wi-Fi 6 networks. Plus, you can use it to enjoy Atmos surround sound on Netflix and other streaming services.
