Teens with shirts on their heads cause disturbance at house: Brunswick Police Blotter

No suspects were identified and no damage was observed to the property at the time of the report.Dog Bite, Ruth DrivePolice responded to a report of a dog bite at 5:46 p.m. Aug. 5. The victim said one of his neighbor’s dogs had bitten him on the calf. Officers spoke to a person at the suspect’s home, who told them the owners of the dog were currently on vacation outside of the United States. The dog sitter was advised of the city’s dog at large ordinance and police had no further information at the time of the report.DUS/warrants, Applewood DriveTwo Brunswick residents and a Maple Heights resident were arrested following a traffic stop for an equipment violation at 8:53 p.m. Aug. 4. The driver had a suspended license and multiple warrants. He was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the Highland Heights Police Department after being cited by Brunswick Police for driving under suspension, having no operator’s license, excessive window tint violation and drug abuse. A passenger, the Maple Heights woman, was cited for drug abuse. The registered owner of the vehicle was cited for wrongful entrustment and the vehicle was towed for possible immobilization.Warrant/open container, Pear RoadPolice pulled over a driver at 11:05 p.m. Aug. 3 for improper display of a temporary license tag. The driver was found to be in possession of an open container of alcohol and had multiple warrants for his arrest.
