TCL’s new ‘Designer’ Google TVs are just like Samsung’s The Frame, starting at $899

TCL has launched a new “Designer Series” of TV sets running Google TV with a flush mount design and matte dispaly to help your TV blend into a room as a piece of art. Samsung’s “The Frame” series gives your living room TV a more aesthetically appealing design, and it’s been a hit, to the point where there are now several alternatives. TCL is no stranger to that with its “NXTFRAME” series having debuted in 2024. The new “Designer Series” continues on the same idea with a flush-mount design that sits just 1.1 inches off the wall when mounted. The mount is included in the box, but you can also purchase a separate mount on wheels. There’s no external box, either, with everything being built into the TV itself. TCL A300L TCL A400U TCL has two lineups available. The TCL A300L collection includes 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch sizes (85-inch coming later) with 4K QLED panels, while the TCL A400U has better quality with 4K QD-Mini LED panels that have more dimming zones. A400U comes in 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch sizes. The main physical difference is that A300L supports interchangable frames to better fit into your home’s aesthetic. Pricing starts at $899 for both collections at Best Buy.
