CAA is feeling euphoric. The agency has signed Sydney Sweeney, the superstar who has been agentless on the acting side for all of 2026. Sweeney had been with Paradigm Talent Agency for the ascent of her career, being represented by longtime agent and Paradigm partner Jennifer Millar, as she broke out with her roles in the HBO series Euphoria and in the HBO limited series The White Lotus, both of which earned her two Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Late last year, however, Millar exited to management, joining Brillstein Entertainment Partners, taking Sweeney with her. Paradigm continued to rep her for brand endorsements and partnership deals. The move proved strategic as it happened before the opening of The Housemaid, Lionsgate’s adaptation of the Frieda McFadden bestseller that became a runaway sensation at the box office, grossing $400.5 million worldwide. Since then, Sweeney’s wattage has continued to brighten. She recently wrapped a starring in turn in Legendary’s big-budget mecha movie Gundam, a potential franchise starter, and will slide into The Housemaid sequel, The Housemaid’s Secret, later this month. Lionsgate has dated that film for Dec. 27, 2027. Sweeney is also known for being proactive in developing the features she acts in and produces via her production company, Honey Trap, which has a first-look deal with Sony Pictures. She has producer or exec producers credits on movies ranging from her big-screen breakout Anyone But You to The Housemaid movies to the recently wrapped Custom of the Country, in which she stars alongside Leo Woodall and Matthew Goode. She continues to be repped by Millar at Brillstein Partners and attorney Stewart Brookman at Hansen. Jacobson.
