Her early guest roles included shows such as Criminal Minds, The Handmaid's Tale, and Grey's Anatomy. The actress gained a worldwide following after her appearance as Cassie Howard in HBO's Euphoria, and is now reaching for Hollywood stardom. New set photos and videos have been released showing Sweeney reprising her role as Millie Calloway in the sequel titled The Housemaid's Secret alongside Michele Morrone as Enzo. The sequel follows Paul Feig's record-breaking adaptation of Freida McFadden's best-selling novel, The Housemaid, which defied expectations and grossed $394 million worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing movie in both Feig's and Sweeney's careers.
