Sue Radford shares terrifying incident that saw older fan ‘cross a line’ with her teens as she begs fans for privacy

MUM-OF-22 Sue Radford has begged her fans to respect the family’s privacy as she revealed a terrifying incident involving one of her teenagers. The matriarch of the bumper brood took to Instagram to address people knocking on their ten-bedroom Morecambe home in hopes to take a snap with the famous family. We’re always happy to stop for a chat, have a photo and say hello – it genuinely means a lot to us.” Sign up for the Fabulous newsletter Thank you! Sue, whose youngest child, Heidi, is just six, continued: “However, today while we are away, one of our older children had a man knock on the door at home saying he watches us on TV and asking for a picture. “We completely understand that people recognise us and want to say hello, but turning up at our home is something we are not comfortable with and it really does cross a line. We’re not happy with this happening and we really need our privacy to be respected.” Most read in Fabulous Alongside the post, shared over the weekend, Sue also uploaded a fitting image which read: “No. It’s not okay.” Since being shared on the family’s Instagram page two days ago, the post has racked up close to 4,000 likes, with dozens flocking to comments to show their support. One furious fan wrote: “Wow that is terrible!!! Nobody should cross your personal boundary of the safety of your home!!!!” Another agreed, writing: “That’s beyond weird why would anyone think it’s ok to do that.” “The fact you even have to post this is whats wrong with people today. That is absolutely crossing the line!” a third chimed in. “Always been a huge fan but will never understand why people can’t respect privacy! Hope your kids aren’t too shaken up,” someone else commented. Dad Noel previously claimed they often get fans who have seen the show wanting to bang on the door to say hello and the family were even in the market of finding a new property. Sue – who added that she’s even had a fan taking photos of her car – added: “That was crazy though as they’d come from Scotland. “They’d gone to the pie shop and Aimee had served them and then they’d come to the house and were stood at the gate. “But the dogs were all out and I was thinking ‘please don’t open the gate as all the dogs will go out’”. These concerns led to a big decision for the family who were looking to buy a new home a few years ago. But despite their offer being accepted, the parents later realised there were more kids than bedrooms. In order to accommodate everyone, they would’ve needed to convert the garage and have an extension. But adding the new extension would’ve spoil the character of the house and not long later, the costs came back at nearly twice as much as what they had budgeted. Who's who in the Radford family?
