The soon to be mum-of-two, who recently revealed that she was expecting her second child, made the confession as she opened up about parenting rules she’s ditched since becoming a mother. In a candid Instagram post, Oti, who welcomed her first child in 2023 but has never revealed her name, shared a slew of snaps which listed all the “things she used to say before having kids.” Sign up for the Showbiz newsletter Thank you! In the fifth slide, the dancer could be seen with her back to the camera and looking out to sea. The star then wrote over the picture: “Number 5 -Having children won-t be my personality. “Being a mother has been the biggest privilege of my entire life. It’s taught me the importance of family. “Patience, forgiveness, tolerance, softness, contentment and a deep love for a person even if they bite you wouldn’t change this new me for the world.” It comes after Oti recently revealed she was expecting another baby Credit: Instagram Oti gave birth to her daughter in 2023 Credit: Not known, clear with picture desk Captioning the post, Oti penned: “I believed there was such a thing as the ‘perfect mum’. “She was always patient, her child ate vegetables without negotiation, the house was tidy and nobody ever left the house wearing yesterday’s snack. Most read in Showbiz “Oh, how silly I was. Motherhood has taught me that perfect doesn’t exist. “Some days I’m calm, organised and feeling like Superwoman. Other days, we’re surviving on cuddles, snacks and a prayer..” It comes just months after Oti revealed that her and Marcus were adding to their brood and expecting another baby. The star is around seven months pregnant, after revealing in June she was four months along. South African-born Oti announced her departure from Strictly in February 2022 after seven years as a professional dancer on the show. She won the 2019 series with actor Kelvin Fletcher and triumphed again a year later with comedian Bill Bailey. Comment now
