But even more dedicated fans have seen all the TV shows, which readapted the movie into their own projects, spanning several different series and an ever-shifting mythos. It's no wonder why there are people who still hold water for the series today, namely because it's built up such a mystique over the past few decades, plus the fame (and infamy) of the original Stargate feature. Now, thanks to a confirmation from Blue Brixx, we have an idea of a new release set in the Stargate universe. An officially licensed Stargate movie advent calendar has been confirmed, and it's available from Blue Brixx starting today and into the holiday season. It's currently going for $39.99 EUR, which is roughly $45 USD. 15 minifgs are included, as well as 17 "story-based builds," centered around events from the 1994 feature film. Here's what you get for the price, as you open up each section one by one: "Step into the world of Stargate – relive the legendary 1994 movie day by day! With the official Stargate Advent Calendar, you can look forward to an exciting journey through 24 doors. Each one reveals a special highlight: 17 story-based mini models that recreate key moments from the film, along with 15 minifigures bringing iconic characters and scenes to life. Exclusive new Jaffa elements add extra authenticity and collectible value. This Advent Calendar is the perfect choice for sci-fi fans who want to enjoy the holiday season with a unique mix of nostalgia, excitement, and building fun. Discover a piece of movie history every day and experience December like a true Stargate adventure." Note that the instruction manual is a full 48 pages, complete with illustrations for the assembly, but with no text. It's 1082 pieces in all. This is the same Stargate movie advent calendar as last year, but since it's been on hiatus, this is a great time to jump in. Other Stargate-related items from Blue Brixx include the Gate Room from SG-1: "Experience the legendary Gate Room, the pulsating heart of the Stargate Command Center from SG Command 1 – brought to life as a true-to-detail officially licensed model. Colonel Jack O'Neill, Doctor Daniel Jackson, Major Samantha Carter, and Teal'c are ready as minifigures in this BlueBrixx brick set to step through the wormhole. Doors can be opened using a gear mechanism, and one wall is removable for optimal access to the many details. You can display the fascinating Stargate in either active or inactive mode. Iris and event horizon are interchangeable. Here, building becomes a galactic mission for Stargate fans." As far as vehicles go, there's the Wraith Cruiser, Goa'uld Alkesh, X-303 Prometheus, Milky Way Chevron, and F-302. For anyone who hasn't kept up with Stargate in a while, it probably sounds like a lot to catch up on. Given how much the Stargate universe has expanded just based on the TV series alone, it's astounding how there are constantly more Stargate products coming out on a yearly basis. Release Date October 28, 1994 Runtime 121 minutes Director Roland Emmerich Cast Colonel Jonathan 'Jack' O'Neil
