Star of 90s children show passes away aged 76 as tributes pour in

PETER Llewellyn-Jones, best known for playing Mr Grimley in The Riddlers, has died aged 76. The British Deaf Association has paid tribute to the author, a spokesperson said: “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Peter Llewellyn-Jones. Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! “A respected BSL advocate, interpreter, educator and ally, Peter devoted more than 50 years to supporting Deaf people and championing BSL. “His legacy will never be forgotten. Rest in peace.” The actor later worked with the University of Lancashire. He made many respected contributions to the British Deaf community in theory and in practice through interpreter training. Fans and pupils of Mr Llewellyn-Jones took to social media to pay tribute. One wrote: “Lovely man and I had be pleasure of being taught by him. I always left his class feeling good about yourself.
