St Kilda stalwart Stokehouse announces changes. Here’s what’s coming very soon

New menu, new downstairs venue, same knockout sea views. Here’s what star restaurateurs Andrew McConnell and Jo McGann have in store at the new Stokehouse.Andrew McConnell’s Trader House restaurant group has revealed the first of its changes at St Kilda dining icon, Stokehouse. From October 26, Marea Beach House and Bar will be open for business in the downstairs restaurant that was Stokehouse Pasta & Bar, which has now closed. Marea will serve dishes inspired by coastal southern European regions, including raw tuna tostada and fritto misto.Inside Stokehouse.Arianna LeggieroUpstairs, Stokehouse restaurant proper will keep its name but interiors are being refreshed by design firm ACME, also responsible for Gimlet and Apollo Inn in the group’s portfolio.
