SRM University-A.P. signs MoU with University of Rome Tor Vergata for joint research

Representatives of SRM-AP University and University of Rome Tor Vergata exchanging MoU documents in Vijayawada on Thursday. | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement SRM University-AP has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy, to strengthen research collaboration and academic exchange between the two institutions.The agreement, signed on Thursday (September 17, 2026) through the university’s Centre for Interdisciplinary Research (CIDR), provides for joint research publications, shared laboratories, and faculty and student exchanges between Amaravati and Rome.The MoU documents were exchanged by the Associate Dean, Technology Transfer Cell, SRM-AP University Vinod Kumar and Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at the University of Rome Tor Vergata Corrado Di Natale.During the campus visit, SRM University-AP gave a presentation on its academic and research initiatives, and Mr. Di Natale outlined research opportunities at Tor Vergata. The engagement was followed by interactions between Mr. Di Natale and researchers from the university’s Centre for Interdisciplinary Research.The partnership comes as SRM University-AP expands research activity in areas including artificial intelligence, advanced computing, quantum technology, cryptography, medical imaging and cybersecurity.
