Singapore Airlines is offering New York–Frankfurt premium economy for 39,900 KrisFlyer miles each way and coach awards between three West Coast cities and Singapore for 30,800 miles each way. Their new Spontaneous Escapes offers take 30% off selected Saver awards for November travel. Book October 15–31, 2026 Travel November 1–30, 2026 Blackout dates apply, seats are limited. Here are the U.S. offers, with prices one-way, per person, plus taxes and fees. West Coast–Singapore coach offers work out to 61,600 miles roundtrip. The San Francisco premium economy deal is only for the flight from Singapore. I covered the same 39,900-mile Frankfurt premium economy and 30,800-mile West Coast coach pricing earlier this year. The routes, directions, flights and blackout dates change each month. How To Book, And What You’re Giving Up Log into KrisFlyer on Singapore Airlines’ website or app, choose “Redeem flights,” and look for the Promo award column. Spontaneous Escapes have several restrictions: No voluntary changes or cancellations. You give up the flexibility of a regular Saver award. No waitlisting. You need confirmed space and must ticket during the booking session. Eligible flights and dates only. Check the route list for flight numbers and blackouts, and complete travel within the promotional window. Keep ineligible flights on separate bookings. An ineligible segment or travel outside the promotional period can disqualify the entire itinerary. No stopovers. Taxes and fees are additional and aren’t discounted. You can transfer points into KrisFlyer from American Express Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Citi ThankYou and Capital One. Not all of these transfers are instant. If you’ve already booked a regular award that now has discounted space, Mainly Miles makes a useful point: book the Promo award first, then cancel the original. You’ll need enough miles to hold both temporarily, and the old ticket’s redeposit fee still applies (US$75 for Saver or US$50 for Advantage/Access). Topics on this page
