She knows! Emmerdale trailer exposes huge Nicola and Sadie twist

(Picture: Mark Bruce/ITV) It was only ever a matter of time before uber-bitch Sadie King’s (Patsy Kensit) lies began to unravel in Emmerdale, wasn’t it? As if losing her husband and soul mate, Jimmy King (Nick Miles), in such a grisly way wasn’t bad enough for poor Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler), what she’s endured since at the hands of Sadie has been nothing short of pure evil. The glamorous vulture arrived back in the village via helicopter almost immediately after Jimmy perished in a terrible car crash, having swerved his car to avoid hitting Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson), who’d veered onto the wrong side of the road while taking a phone call. With a perfectly placed tear rolling from her eye and a funeral-inspired designer get-up and fur coat, Sadie was shocked to see Nicola so devastated. After all, she and Jimmy had split up years ago, hadn’t they? Sadie went on to explain that she and Jimmy had reunited years earlier, what with him being the love of her life, and all, effectively driving a stiletto through the heart that had already been ripped out of Nicola’s chest. Now, not only was she grieving her husband, but she was dealing with the sheer pain and brutality of learning that he’d been cheating on her with his evil ex-wife. But, of course, he hadn’t really, had he? Sadie is still a lying, scheming cow and our beloved oaf Jimmy had done nothing to betray his Nico. Sadie’s pretty skint, and the only reason she’s back in the village is to get her hands on the £150k that Jimmy received for selling his haulage company. With Robert since having grown up to possess a manipulative streak that – at times – has rivalled Sadie’s own, and with pound signs in his own eyes, he agreed to ally with her to claim the money, though their unholy alliance is mere show; Robert wants to take all the money for himself before revealing the truth to Nicola… …and it looks as though, via Robert or some other means, Nicola is about to find out that Sadie lied and, effectively, stole the opportunity to grieve her husband in the way she should’ve from the beginning. We love Sadie, but she needs to pay! (Picture: Mark Bruce/ITV) Honestly? We love to hate Sadie, but we can’t wait to see Nicola give that utter cow what for! In a trailer released to promote next week’s funeral episode, Nicola’s opening lines suggest that she’s preparing to bury Jimmy while still under the impression that he was a big cheating scumbag. ‘I loved every ounce of you, but you’ve ruined that. And I will never, ever forgive you for that’, she declares, decked out in all black as we see a clip of her standing by Jimmy’s freshly dug grave. Cut to the more moralistic half of Robron, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), telling Robert that he simply can’t let Nicola bury Jimmy this way, as a devilishly glamorous Sadie lingered in the shadows. Nicola’s next lines? ‘When I should’ve been grieving for the man I loved most in this world, she made me hate him!’ That pretty much confirms the tea has been spilled, right? And as Nicola takes to the front of the church at what is obviously Jimmy’s funeral, and locks eyes with Sadie, face draped in a delightfully camp fashion with a funeral-fascinator, is that the moment she’ll decide to expose her secret-enemy for the unbelievably twisted game she’s played on her?
