HOLLYWOOD celebrities have paid tribute to actress Hayden Panettiere, who has tragically died at the age of 36. Cruel Intentions actress Selma Blair posted underneath Hayden’s last Instagram upload, which featured an image of her smiling as she cuddled up to a pal, and the caption: “Good times and good friends”. Hayden’s passing comes just three years after the death of her brother. Her heartbroken father, Skip, confirmed the Nashville star’s death in a statement. He wrote: “It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. “She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her – and to the millions who watched her on screen.” The actress’s grieving dad also asked for privacy “as our family takes time to process this unimaginable loss”. The beloved mother-of-one had complained of back pain in the months before her death, sources told TMZ. Her family did not give a cause or location of death. US media reported both Hayden and her boyfriend, Brian Hickerson, had flown out of Los Angeles on Saturday. Police were reportedly responding to an “incident” involving the actress when they found her with investigations still ongoing. Hayden, born in New York, first hit the screens as an 11-month-old child when her mum took her to star in several TV commercials.
