Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steve Martin scour the streets of London to solve their latest mystery in a first look at the sixth season of Only Murders In The Building.The Emmy-winning show is centred around the crime-solving trio living in a swanky New York City apartment building, who host a true-crime podcast and investigate murders.The new season of the US crime comedy will be set in London for the first time, and will feature many famous British faces including Olivia Colman, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Martin Freeman and David Tennant.In an eagerly-awaited first look at the drama to come, singer and actress Gomez reprises her role as Mabel Mora – leading her fellow sleuths Oliver Putnam (Short) and Charles-Haden Savage (Martin) on their latest adventure.The group are seen making their way across the city and one preview shows the trio standing on the Golden Jubilee Footbridge, with US actor Martin wearing his signature fedora hat and sporting a navy ensemble.Gomez’s character is wearing an autumnal burgundy outfit as she looks over at Savage, and Putnam is staring intently whilst wearing a grey long coat, blue jeans and a colourful scarf.Other sneak peeks show the podcasters sitting in an old-fashioned sitting room and drinking a traditional cup of tea, immersing themselves in British stereotypes, and also seen dragging bags and suitcases down a busy street.(Disney/Miya Mizuno)The group also are seen in intense conversations with each other as they venture across the capital to try and unearth who killed Cinda Canning (Tina Fey), whose death was revealed at the end of the last season.They will tackle “their hardest case yet” as they navigate their way through their latest murder mystery, filled with a collection of suspicious and English-eccentric characters.The upcoming series will feature many celebrity guest stars across 10 episodes, including Nicola Coughlan, Peter Capaldi, Jodie Whittaker, Simone Ashley and Richard Ayoade among other names.The trio will tackle ‘their hardest case yet’ in the new series (Disney/Miya Mizuno)The show is co-created and written by Martin and John Hoffman, who are both also listed as executive producers on the upcoming season alongside actress Gomez.The popular programme is known for its A-list celebrity guests, with its fifth series including appearances from Oscar-winning actresses Meryl Streep and Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Emmy-winner Nathan Lane.It has also previously featured Paul Rudd, Shirley MacLaine, Tina Fey and Renee Zellweger.Only Murders In The Building series six will premiere on Disney+ on December 8.
