The decision comes after months of dispute surrounding his security detail, and against the background of threats made in recent days against his family. The reinforcement came after the Yashar party filed a police complaint against Yossi Cohen, who it alleges threatened Eisenkot's wife, Chana, during a protest outside the family's home in Herzliya. According to the complaint, Cohen addressed Chana Eisenkot and told her, "You will not live, you will be next to your son."Prior to that, he hurled at Gadi Eisenkot: "You murdered your son." The remarks were made in reference to the death of their son, Gal, in combat in the Gaza Strip in December 2023.Follow us on Google
