Sara Duterte calls on Marcos to resign: ‘You’re a liar, abusive’

INQUIRER / JASON SIGALES MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte called on President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., her once ally, to resign from his post. “Patuloy tayong manawagan ng paglayas ng problema ng ating bayan na ang pangalan ay Bongbong Marcos,” Duterte said on Friday at a rally with her supporters after her arraignment before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court was deferred. She was set to be arraigned before the court on Friday morning, but upon a motion from her camp, the arraignment was postponed. Speaking to her supporters after the arraignment had been deferred, the vice president pointed blame at the president for the cases against her.
