Saoirse Ronan has insisted she and husband Jack Lowden haven't discussed the rumours he's in line to play James Bond, after his co-star Gary Oldman let slip he'd landed the role.The Scottish actor, 36, has been hotly tipped to be cast as the next 007, with producers said to be 'strongly considering' the star for the role.His Slow Horses co-star Sir Gary Oldman, 68, claimed Lowden has already been chosen and the public will find out soon, adding that he has his fingers crossed. But Saoirse, 32, has insisted that she and Jack, who welcomed their first child in September 2025, haven't spoken about the role.She said: 'I mean, well Gary Oldman thinks he's James Bond, which is its own thing.'I mean, we're kind of getting on with our life to be honest, we have plenty of other things to be dealing with, so yeah, it's not really a subject that's coming up in our house to be honest.'
