Russian Missile-Drone Attack Hits Odesa Apartment Building, Injures Six

Russia launched a large-scale missile and drone attack on Odesa early Saturday, Sept. 12, damaging a multi-story residential building and injuring at least six people, Ukrainian officials said. “The enemy attacked the city. Emergency services were working at the scene, while operational headquarters were set up to assist residents. Authorities said information on the consequences of the attack was still being clarified. The overnight strike followed another Russian attack on Odesa earlier Friday that damaged infrastructure and wounded a 48-year-old man, who officials said was in moderate condition. Russia has repeatedly targeted Odesa and the surrounding Black Sea region with missiles and drones, striking residential neighborhoods as well as energy, port and other civilian infrastructure.
