Russian Military Helicopter Crashes in Voronezh Region, Killing Three

A Russian military helicopter crashed in the Voronezh region on Thursday, killing all three people on board, according to independent Russian media and local reports. The type of helicopter and the cause of the crash were not immediately clear. There was also no immediate public statement from Russia’s Defense Ministry confirming the incident. The crash comes shortly after another Russian military aircraft went down in the Amur region, where six crew members were reported killed. Voronezh region, which borders Ukraine, hosts several military facilities and airfields used by Russian forces during Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
