Earlier Monday, drone debris also fell in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district, on open ground near private residential homes, KMVA said. No casualties were reported there. The debris falls came as Kyiv faced repeated drone alerts throughout the day, part of a wider Russian aerial assault on Ukraine. Russia launched 205 drones of various types overnight into Monday, including 49 jet-powered UAVs, according to Ukraine’s Air Force. Ukrainian air defenses destroyed or suppressed 172 of them, while strikes were recorded at 13 locations and debris fell at three others nationwide. The latest incidents come amid a series of Russian strikes on Kyiv and its infrastructure in recent days, including attacks on bridges, residential areas and other parts of the capital.
