Russian Attack Sets Nine-Story Residential Building Ablaze in Boryspil

A Russian attack damaged a nine-story residential building in Boryspil, Kyiv Oblast, setting the roof and one apartment on fire, regional authorities said Friday. A fire broke out on the roof and in one of the apartments,” the administration said on Telegram. Emergency crews and other services were working at the scene. The strike came amid another wave of Russian attacks across Ukraine, with residential areas and civilian infrastructure targeted in several regions. Earlier Friday, President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine would refrain from air strikes during the upcoming visit of US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow and expected Russia to do the same during the diplomatic mission. “There will be no air strikes from our side, and Russia must do the same,” Zelensky said.
