Royal fashion fans were delighted when the renowned designer teamed up with the high street favourite to release a 16-piece range for spring, and now 12 more chic garments have been added to the collection. Wakeley, who has famously dressed Diana, Catherine, Princess of Wales, as well as Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has brought her signature style to John Lewis. Featuring deep greens, playful paisley patterns, cosy wool knits and sleek satin, the new drop is exclusive to John Lewis and each piece is designed to slot seamlessly into an existing wardrobe and work across multiple occasions. Many of the pieces also feel like they would appeal to Princess Kate thanks to their polished aesthetic.Wakeley has been excitedly spruiking the line on her socials, saying: 'I've positioned this collection so it's premium luxury rather than full-on luxury pieces, which is great'.One of the standout autumnal pieces is a fringe wool cape that the designer called 'quite fun'. 'This was from a collection that didn't actually go into production, which is so sad,' she revealed. The Merino wool blend crew neck jumper features a unique tie detail around the waist, and the wide-leg chocolate brown leather trousers are a versatile fall staple. The range also features an 'airshirt' in olive green and pink, which Wakeley said is great for wearing with a pair of jeans.Yet to be released is an ultra-chic satin and lace maxi skirt that comes in ivory and navy, as well as the coordinating lace-trim cami top.
