Getty ImagesBy Brian Linder | blinder@pennlive.comFans of the rock group Butcher’s Nail got some bad news recently when the band took to social media to explain why its album has not been released.And it is something you just don’t hear very often.“Well, it’s finally time to come clean,” a post on the band’s Facebook page read. “Approximately a year and a half ago, Benny (Vlad/Vocals) absolutely ghosted us. We know that he is well from his posts on Facebook but for some reason he cut of all communications with Butcher’s Nail. This has been the cause of the delay for the upcoming new full-length album.”The band then shared some good news. “However, we are fortunate that the talented Sunderland Pete (of the Vacant Rogues) has stepped up and taken the reigns,” the statement read. “And what a different sound it is! Just wait til you hear it. We will be completing the final mix in September, meanwhile we are starting to shop it around to some Record Labels. Let us know if there are any suggestions out there and feel free to pass this message along. Stay tuned!”Butcher’s Nail describes itself as a supergroup consisting of members based out of Detroit Michigan, and London, Ontario. The band plays punk rock with more hardcore music mixed in.The band’s first EP, “North American Standoff,” was released in 2018. Its first full-length album, “No Will, No Way,” was released in 2019, and its second album, “Para Bellum,” was released in 2019.
