Rise & Fall 2: Manish Kashyap smashes a door, storms off set after a fight

Manish Kashyap kicked the door of a store room and stormed off the Rise and Fall Season 2 set after a heated argument with wildcard contestant Sonam Malik. He threw his microphone into the air and announced that he was leaving after Sonam called him ill-mannered and told him not to be anyone's tail. He returned later and apologised for losing his temper. The episode also saw host Virender Sehwag confront the contestants over abusive language and personal attacks during the Weekend Power Play. Sara Gurpal apologised to Priyanka following an argument over mental health, Rishabh and Aarush Bhola tried to resolve an old feud, and Niharika Tiwari questioned Shehzad Poonawalla over what she described as false promises. The episode began with Sonam arguing with Priyanka and warning her not to interfere with her. Sonam said the Rulers did not want her in the Penthouse and that she would now leave the show.Priyanka then told Manish that he did not take a stand for her. Sonam confronted Manish and called him ill-mannered, prompting him to warn her against speaking to him that way. Sonam replied, “Poonch mat bano (Do not be a tail).” Manish lost his temper and said, “I have come here to earn respect, not lose it.” He announced that he was leaving the show, threw his microphone into the air, kicked the storeroom door and walked off the set. After his exit, Gautam Gulati said Manish was angry because a woman had spoken to him in that manner. Priyanka said not everyone was so stone-cold that they could tolerate such behaviour. The argument between Sonam and Priyanka continued, while Gautam and Kajal Raghwani were later seen comforting Sonam. Manish returned to the show moments later and told the camera, “I made a mistake. I should have controlled my anger. I will not repeat the same mistake.”What led to the confrontation? In the previous episode, Niharika had ranked the other Rulers from the most to the least deserving of a place upstairs. She placed Kajal first, followed by Manish, Priyanka and Gautam. Sonam was ranked last and went directly into the nominations.Gautam was then chosen as the operator and asked to nominate one contestant from Priyanka, Manish and Kajal. He selected Priyanka, putting her alongside Sara.Sonam nominated Manish before becoming the operator herself. She initially chose Gautam, but changed her nomination to Kajal after the other Rulers questioned her decision. The switch left Gautam safe for the week.Rishabh and Aarush revisit an old feudAmid the changing equations, Rishabh and Aarush revisited their past differences, including tensions involving Shreya, Rishabh's girlfriend, and Laila.Instead of entering another confrontation, the two agreed to let bygones be bygones. Their truce came as rivalries and loyalties continued to shift inside the Tower.Virender Sehwag questions contestants' conductSehwag arrived for the Weekend Power Play and confronted the contestants over abusive language and personal attacks. He questioned why every argument had to become serious and why they could not laugh things off.Expressing his frustration, Sehwag said, “I thought all of you were sensible and educated and would understand, but perhaps I forgot. I should have considered that you are not sensible but foolish. Maybe you would have understood if I had explained it using abusive language or spoken in anger.”He also criticised personal attacks and drew on his experience as a cricketer. “When I used to bat, bowlers would abuse me. I did not respond with abuse. I answered them by scoring runs with my bat,” he said.Sara apologises to PriyankaAarush and Laila joined Sehwag for some banter before the conversation turned to the continuing conflict between Sara and Priyanka in the Basement.Priyanka accused Sara of taking their arguments below the belt, while Sara maintained that Priyanka's provocations caused her reactions. Swara Bhasker said that even when arguments took place in the Penthouse, the Rulers managed to remain civil. When the discussion moved to mental health, Sehwag reminded Sara that the same issue had earlier prompted the house to support Priyanka. Sara denied it, leading Sehwag to question how she could make such a claim when they had witnessed the incident themselves.Sara eventually apologised to Priyanka, but the truce did not last. Swara and Priyanka continued to exchange sharp words. Sehwag also advised Priyanka to reconsider her strategy if she wanted to change how the game was unfolding for her.Niharika confronts ShehzadWhile Sehwag addressed the contestants in the Basement, another disagreement emerged upstairs. Niharika confronted Shehzad over what she considered false promises, placing their equation under further strain.Produced by Banijay Asia and hosted by Virender Sehwag, Rise and Fall Season 2 streams on Prime Video.
