Report: Israel's security lines cannot be maintained amid financial crisis, Israeli army warns Netanyahu

The Israeli army warned Benjamin Netanyahu’s government that security lines on three fronts cannot be maintained without "without billions of shekels added to the budget", the Israeli Army Radio reported. The three fronts were identified as the Gaza Strip, the occupied West Bank and Lebanon. The Israeli Army Radio correspondent Doron Kadosh indicated that the army is expected to present the political leadership with estimates showing a defence budget gap of about 25 billion shekels ($8.3 billion).
