Sign in to your ScreenRant account Red Dead Redemption 2 is at its best when you're playing through the epic campaign for the first time, a slow build of a story that's immensely rewarding to work through as the player. It's also absolutely enormous and it takes a very long time to work through everything on offer, particularly if you're planning to 100% all of it. That said, there is only so much enjoyment a single-player release can provide, particularly without any additional DLC from the developer themselves. Happily, we also have the multiplayer to fall back on, and Red Dead Redemption 2 is a very competent release if you're happy to enjoy it with others. Now, the latest event within the game is now live, and it's all themed around the spookiest month of the year. As first reported by IRedDead, Halloween has officially arrived in Red Dead Redemption 2 once again, bringing with it a bunch of worthwhile bonuses for players to pick up. There's plenty to jump into, but as with every event, there are heavily increased rewards for participating in certain activities during the month of October. The full list of those is as follows: 3X RDO$, Role XP and XP on Naturalist Sample Sales 3X RDO$, Gold and XP on All Hallows' Call to Arms 3X RDO$ and XP on Featured Series 4X RDO$, Gold and XP on Strange Tales of the West Telegram Missions On top of those repeatable bonuses, there are also a bunch of one-time rewards that you can earn for your character, some of which require very little effort on your part as the player. Just logging in to play Red Dead Online grants access to the red Fernwater Coat, while if you log-in as a Naturalist, you will receive the Irontooth Mask, originally from Outlaw Pass 4. Hunting or sampling a Legendary Animal rewards the Best Shot Emote, and reaching wave five in All Hallows' Call to Arms gives players the Rowberrow Outfit and Air Banjo Emote. Take it even further and reach wave ten to receive the Beat Chest Emote, as well as an always very handy Gold Bar. The full list of weekly rewards available during the event is as follows: October 6–12: Complete a Sample Sale to receive a Reward for a Free Coat October 13–19: Win in the Featured Series to receive the North Clingman Treasure Map October 20–26: Complete any Blood Money Contract to receive a Reward for a Free Weapon October 27–November 2: Play All Hallows' Call to Arms to receive the orange Benbow Jacket Red Dead Online's Halloween event is set to run until November 2, after which all of the associated rewards will go away again. With no sign that Rockstar is planning to bring us another game in the series soon, it's probably the most fun you can be having as a cowboy in the meantime.
