Rams vs. Broncos predictions markets worth trading on Polymarket for SNF tonight (9/27)

Sunday Night Football this week features a potential Super Bowl matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos, two teams that were one win away from the big game last year. Both teams started the season with lopsided defeats against division opponents before rebounding with impressive victories last week, setting up a high-stakes prime-time game tonight. The Rams are trading as 57% favorites on Polymarket US, showing the confidence the market has in them despite their lackluster Week 1 performance and injuries to stars Myles Garrett and Puka Nacua. The Rams’ star wide receiver missed last week’s game with a hip injury and remains questionable for this game at the time of writing. Let’s take a look at some of the most intriguing markets for this game on the Polymarket app. If you want to sign up for Polymarket US to trade on any of these markets, check out our review of the Polymarket promo code ALCOM to find out how to claim a $50 trading bonus.NOTE: The Polymarket US prices below were accurate at the time of writing but could change.Polymarket predictions price analysis for Rams vs. Broncos on SNFWhy the Rams can cover the 2.5-point spreadPrice: 50% on Polymarket USThe Rams’ offense against the Broncos’ defense is the premier matchup in this game. The Rams had the No. 1 offense in the league last year and the Broncos had a top five defense. Both units again look elite to start the season. That might be the more interesting side of this matchup, but the Rams’ biggest advantage is on the other side of the ball. Don’t be fooled by their lackluster performance in Week 1. The Rams still have one of the best defenses in the league with star talent at all three levels. The Broncos’ offense looked much better against the Jaguars last week than it did in Week 1, but it’s still a work in progress. The biggest concern is the rushing attack, as their top three running backs – J.K. Dobbins, R.J. Harvey and Jonah Coleman – were all on the injury report this week. Denver will not be able to do much on offense if the Broncos struggle to run the ball and Rams’ star cornerback Trent McDuffie slows down WR Jaylen Waddle. Waddle had eight catches for 138 yards last week after a quiet season opener. The Rams’ offense should be able to do enough against the Broncos’ stout defense to win by at least three points, even if it turns out to be low-scoring game. Why the Broncos can cover the 2.5-point spreadPrice: 51% on Polymarket USThe Broncos have a good chance to win this game outright (44% on Polymarket US), let alone cover the 2.5-point spread. They are one of the best teams in the league at home, having won 14 of their last 15 regular-season home games. The Broncos were home underdogs twice last season and won both games.Denver’s defense should be able to keep it in the game, especially with Nacua either out or hampered by his injury. The Broncos’ defense will not get gashed by Davante Adams the same way the Giants did last week. Denver can cover this number if it can turn this game into a low-scoring slugfest. The Broncos also have a rest advantage for this game after the Rams played on Monday night last week. Traveling on a short week to face a tough opponent is a difficult task for any team, even one as talented as the Rams. That’s another meaningful reason that Denver is a live underdog in this game (with a great chance to cover 2.5 points). The case for Over 44.5 total pointsPrice: 49% on Polymarket USThe Denver defense allowed 31 points to the Chiefs in Week 1, albeit on the road, and the Rams are more than capable of a similar offensive output against them. Even if Nacua is out, the running back duo of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum is capable of leading the Rams offense and making life easier for reigning MVP Matthew Stafford. The Chiefs rushed for more than 200 yards against Denver in Week 1. If the Rams can even come close to that level of production, then they can find the endzone multiple times and push their team total into the high 20s.On the other side, Waddle’s big game last week was exactly what Denver had in mind when it spent a first-round pick to acquire the star receiver this offseason. Waddle is still developing chemistry with QB Bo Nix, but that performance provides optimism that Denver can create some explosive plays. If that happens, the Broncos can do their part to contribute to the Over hitting. The case for Under 44.5 total pointsPrice: 52% on Polymarket USThe market is leaning toward the under, and that’s not surprising considering the strength of both defenses in this matchup and key injuries on both offenses. With or without Nacua, the Rams might have a hard time scoring more than three touchdowns, which would make it hard for the total to go over 44.5.The Broncos are also very reliant on explosive plays, while the Rams’ defense is one of the best at preventing them. Since Bo Nix took over at QB in 2024, the Broncos are 27th in points per drive when they don’t create an explosive pass play (20+ yards). That becomes even more important this week given their banged-up backfield. The early trends from this season also favor the under. Neither team has played a game with more than 41 total points scored. Unsurprisingly, the under has hit in all four of those games. Davante Adams anytime TD market priceYes - 42% on Polymarket USWith Nacua out last week, Adams earned a massive 32.3% target share last week against the Giants, leading to eight catches for 195 yards and two touchdowns. He will have a much harder time creating separation if he matches up primarily with Denver All-Pro cornerback Patrick Surtain II, but he will still be by far Matthew Stafford’s favorite pass-catching option.Even if Nacua plays, Adams still has a good chance to find the endzone. He is arguably the best red-zone target in the league and tied for the league lead with 32 red-zone targets last season despite missing three games.Davante Adams anytime TD market priceNo - 59% on Polymarket USIf Nacua is out, the Broncos will key on Adams all game. He is likely to be shadowed by Surtain, who is one of the best cover corners in the league. The Broncos will look to make any other players besides Adams beat them, and Stafford will have no problem spreading the ball around if that’s what the defense dictates. There is also a good chance that most of the red zone work in this game goes to Williams and Corum in the ground game. Through two games, the Rams have run the ball on 57% of their red-zone snaps, up from 45% last season. Combine that with the possibility of Nacua returning and demanding his share of the targets and there are plenty of reasons why Adams might fail to hit paydirt tonight.
