(Photo: PTI) FORECAST SHAPED BY WEATHER SYSTEMSThe changing weather is being influenced by several systems over different parts of the country. The depression over coastal Myanmar and the adjoining Bay of Bengal was moving rapidly north-northwestwards on Tuesday and was expected to weaken into a well-marked low-pressure area later on September 29.The IMD said it would continue moving towards southeast Bangladesh and adjoining northeastern areas.Meanwhile, a western disturbance and associated upper-air systems remain over parts of north India, while another circulation and trough extend across southern India. These systems are the reason behind the duality of weather patterns across the country. The IMD also recorded heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over Haryana in the 24 hours ending Tuesday morning, showing that parts of north India had already seen a spell of significant rain even as the broader forecast turns drier.Monsoon is also expected to continue its retreat from the country as the rainy season gradually comes to a close.- Ends
