Raghav Chadha comes out in Ravneet Bittu's support as he claims attack on convoy: ‘He holds Z-plus security’

BJP MP Raghav Chadha on Friday backed former union minister Ravneet Singh Bittu, who claimed an attack on his convoy by AAP workers near Punjab's Batala. The BJP leader said he was headed to the launch of BJP's 'Punjab Nasha Mukti Yatra' when the alleged attack took place.​Bittu said that AAP workers protested against him as his cavalcade approached an office belonging to Joban Randhawa, AAP's in-charge for the Fatehgarh Churian assembly constituency. Two suspects were apprehended and handed over to local cops. However, he had softened his stance on the Parliamentarian after he switched to the BJP, saying his “no need to join BJP” remark was only in reference to Chadha's pending Rajya Sabha term.
