A NUMBER of new kiosks are set to open across Tesco supermarkets after “record-breaking” sales for a popular food brand. Sushi Yo Sushi is expanding its network of Tesco kiosks this autumn, with nine new openings set to open following “record-breaking” sales for the brand. Shoppers will be able to spot the new kiosks in supermarkets located in Bristol, Ashford, Rochdale, Sudbury, Sutton Cheam, Mold, Bracknell North, Thetford, and Clowne. Sign up for the Money newsletter Thank you! The brand has targeted Tesco stores found in “prominent locations”, which benefit from “strong consumer footfall and established local catchment areas”. Found inside Tesco stores, the Yo kiosks serve up a range of delicious sushi and bento boxes, meaning customers can enjoy a taste of Japan while doing their supermarket shop. The new franchise partners will be fitted with a Yo kiosk and receive comprehensive training alongside continuing operational and business support. Dedicated marketing assistance will also be offered to the new locations. According to the Yo Sushi website, the brand currently operates 391 Tesco Kiosks across the UK. The new kiosks follow the announcement of five partnerships in July, located in Aylesbury, Potters Bar, Kidderminster, Macclesfield and Evesham.
