Now, Marvel is doing something new with the iconic look. Punisher has a lot of uses for his costume, from psyching out his dangerous prey to focusing their fire on his reinforced chest armor. However, sometimes tactical necessity dictates a new look... That's the case as the upcoming Punisher #12 sees Frank Castle hunting criminals through an unprecedented blizzard, switching to a white costume as vital camouflage on an unexpected mission... Punisher Gets All-White Costume for a Snow Mission Marvel has revealed a new all-white costume for the Punisher designed by acclaimed artist Declan Shalvey. The costume will debut in the upcoming Punisher #12, coming from Benjamin Percy and Declan Shalvey on December 23. The new outfit was revealed exclusively by CBR, and includes a black skull logo, intended for a snowbound mission by lethal vigilate Frank Castle. Cover art by David Marquez and Shalvey show Punisher trudging through the snow and riding a snowmobile through the New York streets, with camoflaged white weaponry and a high collar to protect him from the elements. Of course, Frank Castle's skull isn't just practical - it's also a statement of purpose, and so despite the snow camo, the Punisher is emblazoning his new costume with a gigantic black skull. Seeing Shalvey back on art duties is a treat, given his acclaimed record on series including Wolverine, Moon Knight and Mystique. The Punisher #12 is coming December 23 from Marvel Comics. This is a developing story, more will be added shortly...
