(AIM: PLSR, TSXV: PLSR, OTCQB: PSRHF) (“Pulsar” or the “Company”), a primary helium company, is pleased to report that in the most recent edition of CBS’s “60 Minutes” that aired Sunday, October 18, 2026, Cliff Cain, Pulsar’s President, was interviewed on the show as a helium expert. The segment related to the impact of the helium supply shortage principally caused by the conflict in the Persian Gulf area and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, which has stranded the supply of helium from Qatar. Mr. Cain gave the interview on Pulsar’s Topaz Project in front of Jetstream 1 and allowed the CBS interviewer to demonstrate the flow of gas from one of the Company’s wells. Mr. Cain, has briefed policy majors at the U.S. Pentagon on the worrisome helium supply, advised that he has consistently warned that the complicated helium supply chain was vulnerable to disruption. Mr. Cain noted that “the constrained helium supply may affect weapons development, since it’s needed for making fiber optics, munitions and electronics.”This advertisement has not loaded yet, but your article continues below. The CBS “60 Minutes” segment, “Helium, key for semiconductor manufacturing and medical equipment, faces shortage | 60 minutes” can be viewed on the following CBS Link.Get the latest headlines, breaking news and columns.By signing up you consent to receive the above newsletter from Postmedia Network Inc.A welcome email is on its way.
