Project 2 Project, JISA sign MOU to commercialise U-12 football competitions

Leighton Davis, Project 2 Project Limited chief executive officer September 8, 2026 PROJECT 2 Project Limited has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Jamaica Independent Schools’ Association (JISA) to manage the commercialisation of its under-12 football competitions. Under the agreement, Project 2 Project will work with JISA to strengthen the commercial value, visibility and long-term sustainability of the competitions through strategic sponsorship development, marketing, branding, media partnerships and enhanced fan engagement. The collaboration represents an important step towards creating a more professional and engaging platform for preparatory school football while expanding opportunities for young players, participating schools, families and corporate partners. “JISA welcomes the partnership with Project 2 Project as we seek to improve the development of our students through sports,” said Wayne Robinson, head of the JISA Sports Committee. Project 2 Project is led by CEO Leighton Davis, the conceptualiser of All Star Jamaica, a youth football platform that has become well known within Jamaica’s under-12 football community through its popular tournaments, showcases and player-development events. Davis brings significant experience in youth sports promotion, event management, sponsorship development, and the creation of platforms that provide greater exposure for young Jamaican footballers. “This partnership is about more than securing sponsorship,” said Davis. “Our vision is to build a strong and sustainable youth football property that showcases Jamaica’s talented young players, increases the visibility of participating schools, and creates meaningful value for sponsors and other stakeholders.” The JISA Under-12 football programme is one of Jamaica’s most important developmental platforms, introducing young student athletes to structured competition while promoting teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship and school pride. Through the partnership Project 2 Project will focus on developing attractive sponsorship and partnership opportunities and strengthening the identity and visibility of the competitions. Among its aims are to expand traditional and digital media coverage while improving spectator experience and creating greater engagement with schools, parents and communities. The initiative will also provide brands with a unique opportunity to connect with young athletes, parents, educators and communities while supporting grass roots football development and positive youth engagement across Jamaica. “We are excited to begin this journey with JISA,” Davis added. “Preparatory school football has a proud history and tremendous potential. We intend to work closely with JISA, the participating schools, and our corporate partners to take the competitions to a higher level while protecting the values and traditions that make them special.” Further announcements regarding the upcoming season, participating schools, sponsorship partners, and competition activities will be made in due course.
