Prices for fixed-line internet packages in Egypt following the doubling of the base package

The subscription price remains fixed at LE 150, before tax. Types and Pricing The prices of fixed-line internet packages in Egypt vary based on data capacity and connection speed. Telecommunications companies in Egypt offer a range of options to meet user needs, including those provided by Telecom Egypt (WE). Prices from WE According to the announced pricing for fixed-line internet packages from WE (Telecom Egypt), which offer speeds of up to 30 Mbps, the rates are as follows: 100 GB plan: LE 150 per month. 150 GB plan: LE 260 per month. 200 GB plan: LE 330 per month. 250 GB plan: LE 395 per month. 300 GB plan: LE 460 per month. 400 GB plan: LE 580 per month. 500 GB plan: LE 660 per month. 750 GB plan: LE 925 per month. 1500 GB plan: LE 1650 per month. Doubling the Capacity Starting on Sunday, the NTRA has begun implementing a decision to increase the capacity of basic fixed-line internet packages by 100 percent, raising it from 50 GB to 100 GB, without any change to the subscription price, which remains at LE 150, before tax. NTRA’s Decision The decision aims to alleviate financial burdens on citizens and enhance their ability to utilize internet services, given the growing reliance on the internet across various aspects of daily life, including education, work, communication, and access to entertainment content. 100% Increase Doubling the monthly data capacity provides more room for usage, helping families meet their digital needs, such as conducting work or accessing government e-services, without incurring additional costs for increasing their base data package. This decision aligns with the state’s strategic direction to develop the telecommunications and information technology ecosystem and enhance the quality of digital services provided to citizens, in response to the growing demand for fixed-line internet services. The implementation of this decision follows directives issued by NTRA to telecommunications companies and fixed-line internet service providers, in line with recommendations from the “Egypt 2026” forum, as announced by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly.
