Police launch murder probe after death west of Brisbane

A 45-year-old woman has been arrested after a man was struck by a vehicle and died west of Brisbane on Sunday. Shortly before 6pm, emergency services were called to Stoneywood Street at Fernvale, where they found a 50-year-old man unresponsive. Queensland Ambulance Service said he had head, chest, arm and leg injuries and died at the scene. Police have launched a murder investigation. They said the man and woman knew each other.
