Six years since the work began, Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL)’s first train from Porur Bypass is all set to run till Poonamallee around 11.30 a.m., with Mr. Modi and Chief Minister C. In the highway sector, Mr. Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects worth around ₹3,700 crore.
