One person has died after a water-related incident at a Manawatū beach this afternoon.Police were called to Tangimoana Beach Road around 2.30pm after reports two people had been swept out to sea while swimming.One person managed to self-rescue and reach shore safely.The other person was located dead around 3.50pm.Police enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.Last month, two people died after a boat capsized at Tangimoana Beach.The boat capsized about 200m offshore from the Rangitikei River bar, north of Himatangi.
