"The Perez Hilton Podcast with Chris Booker" just dropped a new episode ... and the updates on Perez's condition are pretty shocking. Perez's brother-in-law Tom says the celebrity blogger is still being treated for his physical injuries -- which includes cuts ... and numerous broken bones he got from falling multiple times that horrifying night. As we reported ... cops say Perez was treated for an overdose following his disturbing stream where he appeared to self-harm. Perez is "lucid" and talking to his family, his sister Barbara Lavandeira's husband says ... but he has not been allowed to see his children, who are currently being taken care of by his mother, who has temporary legal guardianship. Booker and Tom also discuss the possibility of sepsis-related psychosis contributing to his mental health crisis -- which can occur after a patient suffers from sepsis, as Perez did earlier this year ... although they acknowledge that theory is merely speculation.
