Reath brings more than 25 years of property insurance experience to the role, including more than a decade leading Marsh’s New England property practice. In his most recent role as U.S. property real estate leader, he developed innovative marketplace strategies and delivered customized solutions for complex real estate and hospitality risks. AXIS Appoints Sternadori as Head of US Excess Casualty and Flaherty as Wholesale Casualty CUO AXIS Capital Holdings Limited, headquartered in PEMBROKE, Bermuda, hired Kyle Sternadori as head of U.S. excess casualty and appointed Mike Flaherty as chief underwriting officer, wholesale casualty. both reporting to Anna Tan, head of wholesale casualty. Sternadori will lead the strategic direction, underwriting performance, and market development of the company’s excess casualty business. He joins AXIS with more than 20 years of casualty underwriting and leadership experience and is based in Short Hills, New Jersey. As chief underwriting officer, wholesale casualty, Flaherty’s role has been expanded to include responsibility for underwriting governance, product strategy, portfolio oversight and execution across the wholesale casualty platform.
