Huntington T. Block Appoints Schaffer as Senior VP of Fine Art Insurance Emily Schaffer Huntington T. Block Insurance Agency Inc., the oldest and largest insurance broker dedicated to fine art and musical instrument insurance in the U.S. and a subsidiary of Aon plc, hired Emily Schaffer as senior vice president of fine art insurance. Schaffer will serve as the day-to-day contact for key fine art accounts, drawing on more than 15 years of experience designing and managing complex global insurance programs for museums, galleries, auction houses, multinational corporations, private collectors and galleries. Schaffer joins Huntington T. Block from Risk Strategies Company, where she most recently served as vice president and team leader for fine arts. Ryan Specialty President, CEO Zern joins Howden US as Vice Chair of Health and Benefits John Zern joined Howden U.S. as vice chair of health and benefits. He joins Howden from Ryan Specialty Benefits, where he served as president and CEO. Zern will oversee Howden’s health and benefits practice, growing its presence across the employer community and helping to shape the firm’s U.S. strategy. He brings more than 35 years of experience leading and growing significant employee benefits and property-casualty businesses, including at one of the industry’s largest global brokers.
