The moving steps made the climb slow and exhausting, forcing them to push forward one step at a time. One man in a light yellow kurta appeared particularly determined. Leaning forward with his arms out for balance, he struggled to climb upwards, continuing his effort as the escalator moved in the opposite direction. Around him, others either gave up and went down the steps or stood watching the unusual spectacle.Watch the video here: I only watched till the end to find out if the man in the yellow kurta actually made it to the top. https://t.co/hKd3Nbz5Fg— SANJAY HEGDE (@sanjayuvacha) October 15, 2026 The clip prompted a few amusing observations from viewers. One person joked that the man was practising to climb Mount Everest, while another quipped that residents had effectively created a treadmill for public use at their railway station.Someone else recalled attempting the same challenge around 20 years ago, when they were 18, and admitted that they had managed to reach the top despite recognising how foolish the stunt had been. - Ends
