Parkinson Memorial probes video involving students

Parkinson Memorial School has initiated disciplinary and administrative procedures following the circulation of a video featuring some of its students in school uniform that has been widely shared on social media. In the recording, the students are heard making comments about some of their schoolmates and the school. In a statement issued over the weekend, the administration said the conduct captured in the video did not reflect the school’s values, standards of behaviour and expectations. The institution added: “Parkinson Memorial School remains firmly committed to maintaining a safe, respectful and supportive learning environment that promotes accountability, positive behaviour and the holistic development of every student entrusted to our care.” (RR)
