After previously teasing yet another collaboration with the K-Pop group Le Sserafim, Overwatch has finally unveiled not only which characters are getting skins in the next cosmetic drop, but also what they'll look like with a shiny new splash art drop. On top of the 6 new hero skins coming to Overwatch, players will also be able to unlock numerous skins, emotes, and more by completing in-game challenges. While you'll have to wait until September 13 for the Le Sserafim update to go live in order to claim the rewards or purchase the new skins for yourself, Overwatch has plenty of events to celebrate the release of the following character cosmetics. Overwatch 2's Le Sserafim Skins Are Nearly Here With more than a few surprising skins unveiled in the official Overwatch X account post, the skins revealed for the new collaboration bring cosmetics for Mizuki, Freya, D.Mon, Anran, Sierra, and Moira. While the skins themselves have been met with a wave of positive reception for their creative designs, many fans were shocked by the inclusion of Moira alongside the far younger characters included in the K-Pop crossover. Joining the roster of Overwatch's previous collaboration lines that helped Blizzard become Xbox's top-performing studio, fans are also being given a plethora of new content themed after the crossover event, which starts with a brand-new music video releasing on September 10. On the same day the skins go live for sale, fans will also be treated to a gameplay trailer showcasing the skins in their entirety, as well as a gameplay stream to see what they'll look like during normal play. Lastly, on September 13, Overwatch fans are also being treated to a Le Sserafim live performance at BlizzCon as well. Overwatch's Latest Collab Will Be Bigger Than Ever Despite the excitement surrounding the event, the latest Le Sserafim drop has also been receiving a few complaints from fans, starting with the fact that the previous wave, which included Ashe, D.Va, Illari, Juno, and Mercy, didn't get a full music video unlike this one. Even with these concerns and the typical ones that arise whenever less popular heroes like Venture don't get the same skin treatment compared to more recent characters like D.Mon, Overwatch's upcoming collaboration with Le Sserafim is likely going to be another smashing hit for the hero shooter, especially if the current fan reactions and the explosive success of its predecessors are anything to go by.
