Over 100 Israeli settlers raid Palestinian village, torch homes

A mob of over 100 Israeli settlers raided a Palestinian village in the northern West Bank, setting fire to homes and vehicles. Anadolu news agency reported that the pogrom took place as Israeli soldiers were accompanying a Palestinian family back to their home in Jalud after they had been displaced by settler attacks two months prior. According to the report, settlers attacked the Toubasi family upon their arrival to their home. Mahmoud al-Toubasi told AFP that, during the family's two month absence- Israeli settlers had occupied their home. “My wife, my son and I went to the house in the car, accompanied by an army vehicle in front of us and another behind us,” he said.
