Nicola Coughlan Gives a Major Update About Her Role in ‘Bridgerton’ Season 5

Remember back in August when Nicola Coughlan announced that she’d be stepping back from Bridgerton? In case you blocked it out due to denial, she spoke to E! News about the decision to step back, saying, “It’s bittersweet. I feel like, God, I had such an epic run. I think that's part of the beauty of that world is it keeps reinventing itself. Every season being a new story—it takes on a different guise.”That SAID, Nicola also implied that she’d be open to a return, saying “I’ll always pop back to Bridgerton if they want me. If I can be set dressing, I'll be there. No problem.”And it looks like she has officially popped back! Nicola just told PureWow, “I’ve had a really amazing year. I've been very, very lucky.
