Netanyahu cuts his US trip short, departs for Israel

According to Israeli media, Netanyahu’s visit to the city was likely curtailed due to security concerns. His visit to the city has sparked outrage, with hundreds of demonstrators taking up positions around the UN headquarters before Netanyahu's arrival and continued protesting while he spoke inside. Inside the UN building, dozens of envoys from around the world walked out in protest during his address.
